fraidy cat: 胆小鬼。
a chicken: 形容胆小的人。
shaking in ones boots: 形容某人处于极度的恐惧之中,以至于身体在不停地颤抖。
jump out of ones skin: 形容人极度惊讶或害怕,似乎到了灵魂出窍的程度。

B: Thats why shes so uptight and freezes when she flies.

ones hair stands on end: 吓得汗毛直立。
uptight: 紧张不安的,神经过敏的。
freeze: 吓呆。
in a cold sweat: 由于惊吓或者害怕而出了一身的冷汗。sweat,汗。
freak out: 变得极其焦躁不安或吓得要死。
lose it: 这里指的是失掉了镇静,无法冷静下来。
shake like a bowl of Jell-O: 吓得抖个不停。Jell-O,果冻。
